Spit Roast Rod or Basket
For the day after the big event, invite all your friends around for a relaxing meal with one of our Spit Roasts (large or Small). Large can be Rod or Basket
The large rotisserie spit (spits roaster / spit roast) is appropriate for cooking a medium-sized animal (e.g. up to 40kg) and includes temperature control and thermometer. Spit needs an extension cord, and the use of an R.C.D (surge protector) is strongly recommended. Refer rotisserie spit with baskets for cooking rolled meats, chickens and vegetables. Approximately cooking times are as follows: Whole Sheep 4-5hrs; Whole Pig 40kg 4.5-5hrs. Price excludes LPG (we can hire you an 18kg LPG bottle, or alternatively you may wish to provide your own bottle. Trailer or flat deck required to pickup Spit Roast, dims are as follows: 1100 wide x 2300 length x 1200 high (approx)
